You pass by hundreds of people daily
But do you ever take the time to get to know just one of them? We are so caught up in our own lives that we often walk through campus with our earphones on, head down, and social barriers up oblivious to the fact that one of those hundreds of people could possibly change your life. I got to know a new friend today, and I found out we have a lot of similarities in the way we think. And all it took...
Maybe I am truly emotionless
I used to think that beneath the tough exterior there was a little boy who was scared of being hurt. That the reason he puts on this front is so that he can pretend like he was invincible. But that boy has grown up, yet he still wears his insecurities around his neck underneath his clothes hoping that no one will notice.
I feel like I'm moving in slow motion.
Must fight the urge to drink caffeine, or I’m gonna jump around like a dog.

Time to be social again!
Finally get a "break" this weekend.
Who’s down for random adventures.
Lent
Lent is a season of giving up, but for me it’s also a season of taking up. I’m ditching bad habits and taking up better ones.
I’m giving up red meat.
I will start using a planner, affirming people more, and start taking better care of myself so that I have the energy to be a support system for other people.
It’s not a big list, but it’s manageable.
"Nothing is permanent until you make it...
This can be applied on so many levels.
I try to keep myself busy.
I might have just realized that one of the reasons why I keep myself so busy is to keep my mind occupied and away from overthinking and dwelling on past events. But since I was so productive today, once again my mind wanders to a place usually reserved for late night heart to hearts or alcohol-induced conversations.
I keep finding comfort in solitude. When I have too many obligations on my...
I need to get my shit together.
Gonna be a social hermit this week. Peace.

Losing motivation
Something I learned this weekend
There’s a reason why some people smile so much. It’s because they’ve seen the face of death, experienced the pain of loss, or felt their world crumble beneath them. They appreciate life much more because they have been through so much. Smile, it’s a beautiful thing.
Do you feel comfortable?
lilylovesyou10:
“Do you feel comfortable where you’re at? Content? Because if you stay at this level of comfort, you’re not challenging yourself enough. How can you get any better if you’re stagnant? I know you’re comfortable, and that’s not bad, but isn’t there more? Reach for more. Be more than you ever thought you could be.”
Too tired to be stressed at this point.
Maybe that’s a good thing.
If I don't get enough sleep almost everything...
Dont get near me haha
